Church relocation

A blessing in disguise has come the way of Fellowship of Hope recently. We were very concerned some time ago when we heard that we would no longer be able to rent our existing church building in Phnom Penh. We were told that we needed to move, because with housing density in that location some people in the area were unhappy about the sound of our Sunday worship music.

The pastors and team searched for months to find a new building to rent that would meet the needs of the growing ‘mother church’ congregation in the city. We all prayed that God would find us the best place possible – one in a more suitable location and yet still affordable. We are happy to announce that God has provided and a new church building has been found!

This building is further out from the centre of town where there is more space and it is easier to worship without disturbing or offending the neighbours. It is a wonderful location and we were excited to find a property that is newer and bigger, for very similar rent to what we paid for our old building.

We are also excited that the new location means people from the city, Happy Village / TLC and Harvest of Hope will all be able to join together for worship in one place! This will include the people from Kian Klieng, once they have been relocated to their new homes near HOH. What a wonderful blessing to all be able to worship God together. We have an amazing God who can so easily turn a problem into a blessing!
