Opportunities to spend time with the team in Perth

Amid the terrible grief and sadness of the death of one of Serve Cambodia’s most promising young students this past week, preparations are still continuing for the team who will be visiting Perth from Friday onwards.

Pastor Sara and leaders from Serve Cambodia will be visiting Perth to say thanks to supporters there, and further promote the amazing work God is doing through Serve Cambodia. We hope that you will come along to one of our events to spend some time with the team.

In case you haven’t seen the details yet via Facebook or emails, here is a list of the public events they will be attending so that you can have a chance to come along:

The main event is a Supporter’s Dinner at Duncraig Christian Fellowship at 6.30pm on Saturday 30th August.  The cost for the dinner is $20 for adults, $15 children, $50 family.  An invitation is available if you Click Here. If you will be attending please RSVP to enquiries@servecambodia.net by 25th August so that we know how many to cater for!

If you want some time to share more closely with the team, there will be a smaller, more informal evening at Scarborough Church of Christ on Tuesday 26th August at 7.30pm. This time will be a good opportunity to meet, chat and hear testimonies. The church is located at the corner of Karrinyup and Huntriss Road, Gwelup. Please also RSVP to this event at enquiries@servecambodia.net

The team will also be attending and doing a short talk at 3 churches whilst they are in WA:

- Busselton Baptist Church Sunday 24th August 9.30am, cnr Queen Elizabeth Ave and Recreation Lane

- Mount Hawthorn Baptist –  8.30am and 10.30am Sunday 31st August,  corner of Edinboro & Hobart Streets in Mount Hawthorn.

- Scarborough Church of Christ Sunday 31st August 9.30am, address above.

Busselton Baptist are also hosting a dinner and presentation on Sunday 24th August 6pm. Please contact the church directly for further details/ RSVP.

We would love to see you at one or more of these events.  This will be a great opportunity to put faces to the work you are such a key part of through your support.  It will also be an opportunity to hear more about what’s happening in Cambodia from those who are doing the work on the ground.

We look forward to seeing you!

From the Serve Cambodia team
